Brooksie and me. A mutt and a 53 year old man enjoying life, walks, being together. Trying to bridge the gap between man and canine. Each visit home to see her is a treasure. Always realizing how intelligent, perceptive she is. The only thing she lacks is the ability to communicate with me. Or perhaps the lack is on my side to understand her.
This blog is just going to be a recording of our time together. Experiences we share on the farm, at the cabin where I carve, read, watch tv, listen to a radio with her at my feet. The way it should be. The way I dream of what retirement some day will be like.
